  1. i am new to art journaling so I love the process of learning new techniques and getting lost in creating something new and fun.

  2. My favourite thing about art journalling is the magic in it. I can start with a certain idea in my mind or nothing at all and something always shows up. Usually something I never expected. It is therapeutic, fun, messy and colourful. Even when it doesn’t work the way I wanted, I’m always learning. I’d love to have a chance to learn with 21 secrets. So many of my art heroes are involved!

  3. I love the color first and foremost…then the freedom to play and try new things.
Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. Art journaling is great for letting color and mark making express how I’m feeling. And it’s different every time with every layer. Learning new techniques just makes it that much more fun. Thanks for offering this amazing giveaway!

  5. Love being able to draw things I love and see it on a page.. I love the happiness the splash of colours bring. Also love using different mediums and learning new techniques♥♥

  6. Hi Melita, what do I llove about art journaling? Just when you think you know what you’re doing a different page appears! Magical !

  7. I am a scrapbooker… getting drawn further and further into the amazing world of art journaling. Such an amazing (tentative) ride so far – just want to do and learn it all – from everyone – all the time. And I spend too much time looking and admiring than I do ‘just doing’! Need something to get me doing!!!!

  8. I love it as a way to document…using colour and words and any technique it has no boundaries…exactly how life should be :)

  9. I love several things about it. First I love to get messy, my journal pages are a reflection of this. And for me my journal is a playground where I can do whatever I want and also try out new techniques. There´s no right or wrong. I can just express myself and my feelings without fear of rejection, because it´s just MINE:)

  10. I am very new to art journalling but have fallen in love with it. The possibilities are endless and I find it soothes my soul to be able to outpour onto paper and put my feelings into every piece. They truly are windows to my feelings and thoughts and I would love to have so much more technical knowledge than i currently have. Thank you xx

  11. Going with the flow, not knowing where it lead me, not knowing the end at the beginning and getting lost in the fun.

  12. When I am art journaling, all me stress disappears. I am In That moment of peaceful creativity. I love mixed media, cause I can’t pick just one medium. I love them all

  13. My favorite thing about art journaling is the layers! I love mixing media and experimenting in my art journal and the joy it brings me!

  14. Thanks so much for the chance to win a spot. That’s very cool of you to provide the opportunity.

What I love most about art journaling is that it’s an easy and accessible way to fit art, creativity into my hectic schedule. It’s flexible to fit around the chaos of family life. And I love that I can experiment and try new things in my art journal, express myself as an individual in ways I might not feel comfortable or confident doing in larger scale or stand alone pieces of art. Art journaling is liberating because it’s just creative fun.

  15. Art journaling for me is a way of releasing the days energy being it negative or positive. I love playing with all sorts of mediums and love creating faces. Learning new skills is essential for me as I am in constant need of change. Haveing a chance to win this prize is a great oppertunity for me to gain insight from the instructors and improve my skills as an artist.

  16. I love the fact that I concentrate on the process so much (it’s like meditation!) and that the final result is always unpredictable!

thank you fot the chance to win! greetings from Poland :)

  17. i LOVE to PLAY with COLOR. if I write a quote, it allows me time to really THINK about the meaning and how best to incorporate into my life. also the mere act of searching out quotes to use makes me more aware of what’s around me.

  18. What makes me most excited is overcoming setbacks in my art whether it be a spilt bottle of ink all over a page or tearing a hole in an almost finished spread. I love that it forces me to think outside the box and that feeling you get once you’ve figured out a way to get around it is indescribable. I don’t take risks in my life, so I love that art allows me to push down my walls and jump in.

Thank you so much for the chance to win a spot in your class!! =)

  19. I have suffered with constant chronic pain all my life and I find that art journaling makes me forget the pain for a while. It takes me to a wonderful place where I can play and create.

  20. I’m really new to art and art journaling. I love using my art journal to try out new ideas- especially ideas I’ve seen on YouTube / the internet although I can be guilty of watching watching watching rather than doing. Must do more.

  21. I like the freedom to create anything I want and to use different art supplies to create what is in my heart and head. I love using my fingers as tools. I also like that there are no rules, only to enjoy and be free.. yay…

  22. My favorite thing is when all of the random things I’ve done/tried all of a sudden come together. When I can see the layers, that might it be super noticeable to others, but to me I can see how each one adds it’s own awesomeness.

  23. My favorite thing about art journaling (besides the process which is fun and messy and cathartic and wonderful) is the answers and messages I find in my finished pages. If work on a page while trying to solve a problem, I almost always find the solution either within the process or when going back through my work. Little love notes hidden in the layers from my subconscious. That never gets old.

  24. The thing I like most about art journaling is looking back over my journey in my journal and finally understanding myself better from this beautiful arty colourful story! New insights every time, simply from the joy of sitting in authentic, creative space x

  25. I just finished my first art journal and already started a second one!
I love playing with colour, different art supplies and try new techniques. If’s fun and a wonderful way to feel free and relax.
