I’ve been laid up with laryngitis for the past few days, so I’ve not been well enough to dive into my art journal. However, the creative urge hasn’t left me. My solution – revisiting some old online classes, and even trying some new ones. Nothing like learning something new to get the creative juices flowing!
Some of my favourites, that I definitely recommend are:
1. Layering with Stencils from Julie Fei-Fan Balzer.
This is a great class for all skill levels, as Julie shares all sorts of tips and tricks guaranteed to get you looking at your supplies in a whole new light. I especially love that Julie gives us a peek into her journal, with tips on how she created her pages.
2. Art Journaling Live – with segments from Pam Carriker, Traci Bautista, Julie Fei-Fan Balzer, and Dina Wakely.
So many amazing techniques from these fabulous ladies. You wont be disappointed!
3. Mixed Media Workshop Best of Printmaking with Julie Fei-Fain Balzer and Jen Mason.
This is a great compilation of all the printmaking segments from the first season of Mixed Media Workshop. Some great techniques for all skill levels, and this duo is a joy to watch – full of fun and laughter!
I really hope you’ll try one of these classes and that you love it as much as I have. I’m a voracious learner and am always eager for more, so if you’ve taken any online classes that you think I should know about, please leave me a comment.
Happy arting…or learning as the case may be!
