An Experiment In Colour

I often find myself reaching for the same colour combo in my art journals, and this weekend I decided to step outside y box a little. I’ve been playing around creating some fun tags and this is by far my favourite.

Melita Bloomer - Artful Fancies

I’m loving the orange, yellow and pink combo, and it was a great excuse to bust out my new Dina Wakley stamps. I stamped this pretty Miss with Rangers Jet Black Archival ink, and roughly sketched over the top with a Stabilo Marks All Pencil, just to ‘rough her up’ a little more. I love the result, and am adding her to this weeks spread in my Documented Life Planner.

This spread is still a work in progress, so I’ll have to come back soon and share a peek into my planner. Are you taking part in Documented Life? If you are, I would love to see your pages, so feel free to share in the comments.I let things slide for awhile but am now back on track and loving it more than ever! Amazing what a difference the daily practice of art can make!

Happy arting!
