Art Journal Share: Keep Turning

Hello lovelies! I’m back today to share another recent spread in my art journal. This was a super quick page, coming together in just a few short minutes. I started by trying something new and used an old cotton spool to stamp the circles, and then added a splash of colour using spray ink and a paintbrush. I then added some messy ink drips and a little bit of stamping. So easy, yet very satisfying! Pretty sure the spool stamp will be showing up again…
Oh, and if you look closely, I have a ghost of a silhouette on the right side – no clue how that happened but a happy mistake indeed!

  1. It’s fun when a page comes together like that, isn’t it? I love doing ten minute pages where there isn’t time to think, you just work by instinct. Great idea to use the cotton spool to stamp with – it has some fun details.

    1. AbsolutelyTracy! My favourite pieces have always been a result of working by instinct. Certainly says a lot doesn’t it?
