Hello lovelies! I’m back today to share another recent spread in my art journal. This was a super quick page, coming together in just a few short minutes. I started by trying something new and used an old cotton spool to stamp the circles, and then added a splash of colour using spray ink and a paintbrush. I then added some messy ink drips and a little bit of stamping. So easy, yet very satisfying! Pretty sure the spool stamp will be showing up again…
Oh, and if you look closely, I have a ghost of a silhouette on the right side – no clue how that happened but a happy mistake indeed!
Materials: Small Dylusions art journal, Liquitex gesso, Adirondack Colorwash spray in Wild Plum, SEI Tumble Dye spray in Turquoise and Blueberry, Archival ink in Jet Black, mini alpha stamps, recycled cotton spool.
Have you tried something new in your journal lately? Did you like it enough to try it again?
